Key Qualifications
To excel in this role, the applicants must possess the following:

- Ability to operate small hand tools and small power equipment, pneumatic or hydraulic tools. - Comfortable working in an outdoor environment for extended periods.

Responsibilities
The Construction Worker I is expected to be actively involved in various aspects of construction, including:
- Perform general labor tasks.
- Operate hand and small power tools.
- Assist journeymen in their daily tasks.
- Handle pickup and deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Work in compliance with all Corporate, Departmental, and Divisional safety programs and procedures, as well as WorkSafe BC regulations.
- May be required to work within a confined space.
- Assist in utility construction work such as sewer and water tie-ins, pipeline installation, underground chambers, etc. Apart from general tasks, the Construction Worker I may be involved in utility construction work such as sewer and water tie-ins, pipeline installation, and other underground chambers, showcasing the diverse skill set required.
- Perform simple survey requirements.
